“My son, go tell them they have permission…”
In 2020 I resigned as a full time Pastor after the Father asked me:
“Armand, do you want more?”
Saying yes to that invitation changed everything.
What followed was a big move to a small town where we knew no one and it was the perfect place for what would become a season of total separation, discovery, unlearning everything I thought I knew about God and myself and life changing encounters.
One of these encounters came from a dream in the night….
I was standing with arms crossed, like a proud founder, in front of a tall glass building. (I somehow knew it had something to do with media)
I had a black shirt with the letters O J I N printed in a white bold font on my chest.
I woke up and knew this was no ordinary dream, this was a clear vision for what I am called to build.
Weeks and months followed as I tried to get exact clarity on what that practically meant.
But I eventually realised this would not be something I would be able to rush or force into existence, so I put it aside and kept doing what I was doing at the time.
Almost 3 years went by (with loads of different things that happened in between)… then one morning in prayer, I again heard the Father ask me:
“Armand, do you remember O J I N ?”
The next moment I saw an open vision of thousands of hidden leaders that are called to influence nations but they were stuck in other people’s visions, waiting for permission to step into their own God given leadership.
And I heard the Father said:
“My son, go tell them they have permission to say what only they can say and to build what only they can build - then help them build it.”
This commission led to what is now becoming OJIN - One Journey Influencing Nations,
a leadership reformation and media company for the hidden leaders, dreamers, visionaries and pioneers who have been waiting for permission way too long.
