Hey there, my name is Armand Kok. 

I am married to South Africa’s finest, Karina Kok. We are proud Afrikaners that are currently building our future in Panama, South America.

At the age of 14 I had a radical encounter with Jesus that changed my life forever, I knew I was called to the nations but it took me well over another 15 years to figure out who I am, who I am uniquely called to serve and how to communicate that to the world. 

I always laugh when I say that I feel way to spiritual for the business people and way too business minded for the spiritual people, I say it jokingly, but the reality is that I have become a bit of both. 

Here are some highlights of my life the past decade:

I started out behind the books at Living Word Bible College in Pretoria (now called Apologetics SA), then launched into practical ministry and supernatural missions, some places alone but most with Jean Louisa and Sonja du Toit and their ministry - Resurrection Army. Isolated and forgotten places like islands on lake Victoria in Uganda, tribes at the Okavango Delta in Botswana, the most holy place for Hindus in the world in a place called Varanasi in India, muslim communities at Lake Malawi, outside crusades at the foot of mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and serving the local community of Inhambane in Mozambique. 

Wow, those were defining moments and places, every single place teaching me something different. Each culture, language and worldview, each sign, wonder and miracle - I fell in love with the nations

But that is not the only thing I fell in love with, I also fell in love with a fashion design and marketing student from Pretoria, a fireball of a personality that is full of life, passion and big dreams to change the world. The famous, Karina Kok. One look, in front of the church door, and I knew I was in very deep trouble haha. We got engaged 8 months after we first met each other and got married 6 weeks later. We are celebrating 8 years of a happy marriage this year. 

I also became a full time Pastor at a drug rehab called ARC under the leadership of Mathys and Carly van Der Vyver and led the 1 year program to help broken guys get clean, saved, delivered, discipled and back into the workforce. (Addiction tore my family apart too when I was still very young, I myself was born with fetal alcohol syndrome and that had its significant influence on my life) Alongside the rehab, I also pastored with them at Acts 29 The Movement and church in this time and helped serve and build this ministry for over 3 years. 

Someone very few of us saw coming then happened, Covid hit the world and a lot of things changed, one of them was me deeply knowing that God was calling us for more. I can write books on this whole season of transition but to keep it short, we stepped out in faith and moved to a coastal town called Gordon's bay in Cape town.

2 weeks before our move, the Father moved mountains for us in a way that rocked our world.
A divine connection with a leader we never met in person, living on the other side of the planet, New Zealand, just launched their online movement Raising Royalty. Benji and Alanna Alexander made us part of their tribe and for the past 5 years we helped build and grow their movement behind the scenes.

In between these past 5 years me and Karina also moved to Panama, got our full time residencies, a purpose we can't wait to see unfold in its fullness as the time goes on.

As you can see, over the past decade I helped pioneer, establish and grow other leaders visions, ministries and movements. I am eternally grateful for every one of them (the many others not mentioned included) for every season and opportunity.

Now, its time for me to build what the Father has given me, OJIN - One Journey Influencing Nations. A Leadership Reformation and Media Company.

Over the years I have come to find a great passion for a very specific person - the called one, like me. Those who know that they have a calling, a voice and a movement. Those that are stuck in years of cyclical confusion about what it means, what it practically looks like... they serve other people's visions but find themselves many times stuck in their own head waiting for permission that never comes.  Also those, that are walking in their vision that still dream too small, who are called to influence nations but doesn't have the media and broadcasting capacity to reach the world.

All of that is about to change, God is doing something awesome in the earth - and its my biggest privilege to partner with Him and create the future for the masses.
